Japanese language tests do not include a speaking section, and the listening sections are often clearer and slower than real conversations between native speakers. Some grammar that is correct on a test can also sound too formal or unnatural in everyday conversation.

That is why it is so important to understand which words and expressions to use, when to use them, and who to use them with.
