沖縄旅行！最高！沖縄の文化とアメリカの文化 (N5～N4 level)

沖縄に旅行に行ってきました。沖縄は日本の南にある島で、美しい海や独特の文化で有名です。 今回は、旅行中に見つけた沖縄文化や異国の文化について紹介します。

I recently took a trip to Okinawa. Okinawa is an island in the southern part of Japan, famous for its beautiful beaches and unique culture. In this blog, I'd like to introduce some aspects of Okinawan culture and some foreign cultural influences I discovered during my trip.

1日目　Day 1

福島空港から大阪(伊丹)空港へ飛行機で向かいました。

福島空港は、なんと！飛行機が1台だけ....。めっちゃ小さい空港です。

I flew from Fukushima Airport to Osaka (Itami) Airport.

Believe it or not, Fukushima Airport had only one airplane! It's a very small airport.

福島空港(ふくしまくうこう)　Fukushima airport

福島空港から大阪(伊丹)空港まで、1時間10分かかります。

It takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes to fly from Fukushima Airport to Osaka (Itami) Airport.

沖縄(おきなわ)　　　　　　那覇空港(なはくうこう)

大阪(伊丹)空港で乗り換えて、沖縄(那覇)空港に行きました。

大阪(伊丹)空港から沖縄(那覇)空港までは、飛行機で2時間10分です。

After transferring at Osaka (Itami) Airport, I flew to Okinawa (Naha) Airport.

The flight from Osaka (Itami) Airport to Okinawa (Naha) Airport takes about 2 hours and

10 minutes.

那覇市(なはし)　Naha City

那覇市は、沖縄県の中で一番栄えている場所です。

Naha is the largest and most vibrant city in Okinawa Prefecture.

外国人の方もたくさん働いていて、日本じゃないみたいでした。

Many people from other countries work there, so sometimes it didn't even feel like I was in Japan.

那覇のレストランのメニュ－には、日本語と英語メニュ－がありました。

Restaurants in Naha had menus in both Japanese and English.

左はミミガー、右はラフテーです。　　　　On the left is mimiga, and on the right is rafute.

ミミガーは、豚の耳を使った沖縄の料理です。コリコリした食感が特徴です。

Mimiga is a traditional Okinawan dish made from pig's ears. It is known for its crunchy texture.

ラフテーは、豚の角煮のような沖縄料理です。豚肉をしょうゆや泡盛、砂糖でじっくり煮込みます。

Rafute is a traditional Okinawan dish made with slow-braised pork belly. The pork is simmered in soy sauce, awamori (Okinawan liquor), and sugar until it becomes very tender.

お酒は、沖縄のお酒、『泡盛』を飲みました。　

I also tried awamori, Okinawa's traditional alcoholic drink.

泡盛は、35度以上あるので、ロックで飲むのがオススメです。　

タイ米で作られているお酒です。

Awamori has an alcohol content of 35% or higher, so I recommend drinking it on the rocks. It is a traditional distilled spirit made from Thai rice.

1日目は、飛行機に乗って、沖縄に行って、ホテルの近くの居酒屋で飲んで、ご飯を食べました。とても、いい1日でした。

On the first day, I flew to Okinawa. After checking into my hotel, I went to an izakaya near the hotel, where I enjoyed some drinks and delicious food. It was a wonderful day.
